We had the honor of interviewing the main AWS “Evangelist”, who, through the official blog space, changed the way of learning and discovering Amazon Web Services tools.
When studying a technology, we have various sources of information At our fingertips: Tutorials, communities, videos, official information, and blogs.
To fulfill that learning function, AWS has a blog space, where Jeff Barr, since 2004, began to take the services of this platform to new levels, in a way attractive and easy to understand.
Today, Jeff Barr is the Vice President & Chief Evangelist at Amazon Web Services, and at Zenta, alongside William Guzmán, Senior Solutions Architect, we had the honor of conduct an interview to discover everything about how he led the company to what it is today.

Zenta Group: You started almost 20 years ago, did you ever imagine what you would achieve?
Jeff Barr: Honestly, no. When I started in this position, it was a small part of my job, and it gradually became more and more interesting, and there came a point where you say, "Wow! It's incredible that I started this 20 years ago!"

Zenta Group: In these 20 years, what has been the most rewarding experience you've had?
Jeff Barr: The best experience is meeting people who tell me they've learned something from my blog. The possibility of changing someone's life with the content I've created has always fascinated me. What I love to do is, when I meet readers, I try to remember that conversation and use it as inspiration for my next posts. That reader is my client, and I write directly for that client in my next post.

From Zenta it was a pleasure to interview one of the biggest names in Amazon Web Services, an opportunity we had in the last AWS Community Day, carried out in the city of Santiago, Chile.
We hope this interview helps you understand how, by passionately performing a small part of your job duties, you can to mark a turning point in the industry, positioning yourself as a role model and helping a large number of people learn from you and your knowledge.
